01 / About

I build things. I also figure out why they break.

My path hasn't been a straight line, and that's useful. I studied chemical engineering, co-founded a music app, built software myself, and now work with the people who use a complex SaaS product every day. Each step taught me a different way to ask better questions.

These days I spend a lot of time in SQL, tracing what happened behind a customer report. I enjoy the moment when a vague problem becomes a clear explanation, a fix, or a better product decision.

Product Support Engineer

At HelioCampus, I work with colleagues across countries in Product, Engineering, and Customer Support. Together we investigate difficult issues in a higher education SaaS platform, connect what customers see to what the data shows, and get the right fix moving.

  • Trace data discrepancies with SQL, test possible causes, and turn the findings into an explanation the customer and product team can use.
  • Reproduce tricky workflows, compare expected and actual behavior, and give engineering evidence they can act on.
  • Build custom reports and technical analyses that make complex customer questions easier to resolve.
  • Feed recurring issues into product discussions and stay involved as engineering works through the fix and release.
MTM SoftwareApr 2019 — Jan 2024

Co-founder & Product Manager

We grew Meet The Music from an idea into an app with around one million downloads across 80+ countries. As product lead, I used what we saw in the funnels and retention data to decide which parts of the experience needed work next.

  • Compared onboarding drop-off, retention, churn, and subscription behavior to focus the roadmap on the biggest points of friction.
  • We iterated on the onboarding and monetization flows, tested the changes, and improved conversion by 30%.
  • Turned those findings into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; worked with engineering on integrations and releases.

Business Analyst Trainee

Practiced taking a loosely defined business request and turning it into something a delivery team could work with: process maps, requirements, backlog items, and UML/ERD models.

Salty EnergyJan — Dec 2019

Co-founder & R&D Engineer

The saltwater battery concept I proposed became Salty Energy. As a team, we tested its technical feasibility, documented the experiments, and secured grant and investment support, including TÜBİTAK 1512 funding.

03 / Selected work

A few things with my fingerprints on them.

Meet The Music

Consumer product · 2019–2024

We made an app where shared music taste could start a conversation. My part ranged from deciding what to build to reading the numbers after launch and changing what was not working.

SomniumAI

Independent product · 2024–2025

A small product I built from app screens to backend. The idea was to make dream interpretation feel curious and personal; I kept refining the prompts and flow based on how people actually used it.

Salty Energy

Research venture · 2019

A battery concept I originated and took through feasibility work, experiments, and funding. The project received TÜBİTAK 1512 support and attracted investment.

04 / Skills

The tools change. The habit of checking stays.

Product

I map user journeys and processes, make UML diagrams, write PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, manage backlogs, and use experiments to see what works.

Data

I use SQL and PostgreSQL to check data, build reports, investigate odd results, and follow funnels, retention, churn, and LTV.

Tools

I have worked with Jira, Kibana, Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, UXCam, RevenueCat, Grafana, Excel, and Postman.

Technical

I can work across APIs and code too: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Node.js, MongoDB, Supabase, REST, and JSON.
